Setting up web page question?

    Hi,

    Not too sure if this is the right thread? But i would like to know if it is possible to set up your own web site or do you need to pay someone to do it? It would only be one page no links etc. Is there any sites that let you do this for free?

    Any help would be great thanks!

    You sound as if you're new to all this and haven't got much knowledge of the area yet. Fine, no problem. To dip your toe into the whole area, I suggest you head over to WordPress or Blogger and set up a blog which you can make into a one page site. Check their guides and tours first. Then you can figure out if and how you want to proceed. All for free.

    Assuming you wanted a website with a solid web address (www.abcdefghy.com) as apposed to a blog then yes you would incurr some expense in purchasing the domain name €10, and hosting @ €5p.m

    Also you would need to employ a designer to design the page in html.
