    I used to live around the corner from there, and the amount of times you'd see tourists posing for photo's wasn't funny, especially since it is quite a busy street.

    I saw a piece on BBC London news a while back about it. The locals hate it as traffic is always being held up because of it.

    Just watched for 2 mins and there are queues of people waiting to get a photo once there is a break in traffic. Can't believe a hawker or something isnt setup around there to make some money out of it?

    ..the traffic is actually stopping at the zebra crossing to allow people to cross the road....those abbey road drivers really know their rules of the road.....:eek::eek::p
