didn't this "revolt" already take place on a couple of Tuesday nights a few months ago, but stopped due to lack of interest, 1000 first week 500 second week......
I was there. It was about 3 months ago now. About 2000 the first week and 300 the next. Yet people love to go on the radio/internet and complain.

its the Joe Duffy show, don't his listeners have hospital appointments and solemn novenas to go to? How are they supposed to find time to revolt?

Seriously people who are listening should be told to pay their Electric bill and not to start this "I'm holding back on the 5% - and if we all do it they won't cut us all off Joe". These people should be reminded of the bin charges (about 9 years ago) when the liveline phone was hopping with people "Let's stand together and not pay they're not going to stop collecting our rubbish if we don't pay. They can and they did.
