Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

A friend of mine gave me an old broken SLR NIKON to have a look at. Is there still any places left that could repair it. It looks in bad nick TBH. and may not be worth it.
    Any advise would be helpful.

Give these folks a call (don't drop in they don't have a shop there anymore), they did a treat on my old minolta. Declan will pick-up/ met you and deliver most places in Dublin or you can post it to them, but call them firstly.

How much did they charge to fix your minolta? I have a Sony A200 needs a bit of repairing. it works, takes pics and all the controls/menus are fine. But the sensor is out of place and the Body IS is broke.

I can't sell the thing at all, even with extras, be a good back up for an Alpha user - but if I could get it fixed cheap enough I think I'd sell it a lot faster.

Was only 35 euro, but we are talking about a film minolta from about 1982.

Was it a major repair? The value of the camera shouldn't matter no? the A200 isn't anything to write home about, and I think placing the sensor back in line would be an easy job for experts. The body IS would probably be a bigger job, but that isn't essential. i think it's sell without it so long as I state the issue. Atm I think it's not selling more so because of the sensor being out of line - I do state that in the advert.

I might give them a shout, cheers :)
