Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

So I came up with Solas bar on Wexford St.
Ticks all the boxes, so yup, game on. And not too far from my nightlink point @ Westmoreland Street.

In my currant privileged position of (joint) Brother of the Year in BGRH I must shun all mention of girly drinks and mock those who indulge with mockage and distain.

However, as this is not a BGRH BEERS I may indulge in a martini or two.

Two questions and then I am sold on this Solas place.

How much does a long island cost and how potent?

Woohoo! Looking forward to it already!

Have you been in touch to book? they may reserve an area so getting packed may not be a huge issue that way. *fingers crossed*

I've noticed the odd pair of good looking runners in the joint though a man bag like at tLL beers is definitely and option Snowy!

I'm going to time it now...it took 1 minute and 26 seconds to walk home from there!

I'm a maybe, will be broke in September due to a whopper credit card bill.

We are still a relatively new forum with at present a core of probably 30 odd regular contributors.Forums like AH or tLL get way more traffic than we do at the moment which is why their beers threads get so many replies IMO.

The smiley did say a lot, I was just covering my bases though!

First beers and youre a moderator...how'd you manage that? Do you have any pics on boards?

Oh good lord! Im having second thoughts about introducing myself at the start of the night so!

Im still a relative n00b to the realm of moderation,I dont think its a pre-requisite that you have to attend a beers before you can be asked to be a mod though!

When Im starting out boozing Im usually quite reserved but when I get inebriated (I love that word) then Im liable to say/do anything so for a salient conversation Id say early intros would be best,at least that way you wont remember me for being a total buffoon.:pac:

There are one or 2 pics of me floating about on boards but Id say its well over a year since I last posted one!
