Ok, going to start up a football slow drip log here, see where it goes.

Rules simple - lay the bitch (well the correct score of the football match to be precise).

Saturday- Withdraw 1/2, 1/2 rolling over
Sunday- Withdraw 1/3, 2/3 rolling over
Monday- Withdraw 1/4, 3/4 rolling over
Tuesday- Withdraw 1/5, 4/5 rolling over
Wednesday- Withdraw 1/6, 5/6 rolling over
Thursday- Withdraw 1/7, 6/7 rolling over
Friday- Withdraw 1/8, 7/8 rolling over

All I need is one bad result in the early days and I'm up the creek without one of those young shirper boys to row me back down.

Likely to begin Saturday (14 August), perhaps Friday (13 August).

No skill, no reasoning, just going to continously dodge the bullet until I'm taken out by the firing squad.

For those confused, all will be revealed in good time (as they say in the States)

Aim - lots of beautiful dividends to roll around in and laugh in an insane possessive manner.

Target - To have enough disposal readies to walk into some run down bookies on a Monday afternoon, skip the queue like the stereotypical dole scratching, 3 day time pints for a tener fending, gambler and pile a €100 on a virtual dog race. When loses - start tearing up handfuls of €20s in despair to the bemushment of the lager loving slap heads. Depart bookies in a newly acquired Audi.

    Starting Balance €1,206.20

Yep I sure am. But I'm not Scotty. I couldn't exactly set up another slow drip there or I'd be put down like the tail coating cyber bully that I am.

I said I'd wander over to Boards and cock the leg and have a sniff around.

So you stand to win €11? Will you be betting your bank every week? That's a massive stake, best of luck.

Yeah, should the bet win, you will see how the bank progresses.

It is a huge stake, and I fully realise that a guy who backs the 3-3 at a tener can tear me a new areshole if it ends up 3-3.

I have tried this method in the past. It usually comes good, but the horrible beauty of this system is that it can come crashing down at any moment.

So here is to 1000 consecutive winners!!:D

Big sweat every week. It's definitely ballsy, I have to say.
I'd oppose on principle any system that involves the possibility of losing the house on one event. Yet this is the central idea of what you're doing.
I had two nasty setbacks recently were I ended up down over 20% of the bankroll on both occasions. Both gave me sleepless nights, which is not really what I'm looking for in gambling. I recovered from the first because I still had a bankroll to work with, and am mostly recovered from the second for the same reason.
You, however, have no safety net. But I wish you the very best of luck.

Yeah, you'll be up €10.6m ;) But in reality, how much do you think you'll be able to lay on each match? I presume you'll be using betfair? How many bets do you think you'll get on a week?

    Realistically - 7 to 10 a week.

€10.6 million?haha. We'll see how it goes. All could end tonight.

Unable to use Betfair for reasons outside my control, so will be using Betdaq and/or WBX.

Yep, 1000 bets to €10.6m provided you stay at similar odds. I like these threads, even if they are a source of constant ridicule and I wish you all the best with it.

I haven't used those sites, but I presume they work in a similar fashion to Betfair?

Yeah they are the same as Betfair, but they are far less liquid at times.

Having too much of a fund so my bets won't be matched will be the last of my worries :D

    I'm confused with this bit.

  • Registered Users Posts: 274 ✭✭Bestake

I'll be skimming off a fraction of my winnings with each bet.

eg. today if I win €10, €5 will be banked, while €5 will be added to my balance going forward.

Look at post #1 to see how I apportion that fraction Monday to Sunday

Ah right, cool. Must have skimmed over that part initially. At least if you lose the next one you'll have something left over ;) I wonder how long before the skimmings turn into a nice little earner? Interesting.

Yeah I have 0.1% of my bank safe so I don't really care what happens from here on out haha.

I reckon I'd want to be up to rought Bet 150 to start having a decent bank skimmed.

    Bet 2 is up!
