Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Facebook login problems !

    Hi

    I cant access my facebook account,
    when i enter my email address and password at login I just get a twirling symbol that continues and continues:mad:
    Has anybody else ever experienced this ?

    P.S I hope this in the right section
    any help would be great

    I googled about this earlier and someone mentioned clearing my browsing cookie which I did but still no joy !
    I am on a Mac book

    It could just be that the site is down. Is there some other Facebookist you could get to try it on your PC?

    Other than that try a different browser like Camino or Opera.

    I'm assuming other sites are working ok (and not just ones that are in your cache i.e. try some site you haven't been to before or do a search in Google) ?

    my partner tried to log into her account but had the same problem !

    I can login to facebook through my phone alright
    so dosen't appear be down.
    all other accounts I have are working fine !

    Ok so maybe try another browser then.

    And other websites are ok on it aren't they? Perhaps you missed me asking that before.

    if you're using Safari, try using Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome to log in.

    I downloaded mozila firefox

    i can log in fine. are you trying to log in from facebook.com or another page?

    try this page - https://login.facebook.com/login.php?login_attempt=1

    Could you try another SSL website? Like Gmail or something like that, might tell us where the problem is.

    I can log into Gmail without any problems

    What about if you restart your router to get a different IP address. It could be that Facebook have blocked the IP you're on at the moment for some reason and that's what's causing it.

    That may be the problem
    I am away for a few days with the Mrs in Donegal
    and I am accessing the net from the hotels wifi...

    maybe thats the issue ?
    no other problems with any other sites !

    Either that or the hotel has a proxy/firewall that is blocking facebook.

    Try it in a different hotel ;)
