Replacement 15.4" Lcd for Dell Inspiron 1300

lcd is busted took it out of laptop its model Chunghwa 15.4" CLAA154WA04. i cant find anyone local thats not trying to rip me off ie: 160 euros or so being quoted. hoping someone knows of 2nd hand breaker / parts supplier thanks neonitrix

You could try adverts.ie my screen broke after a drop, it is an inspiron 6400 and I got a replacement on ebay for about €110, it was a fully housed screen, not just the panel.

If you check on forums you might find several LCDs are compatible, and you can get generics. I paid a little more for mine as I did not want the risk & hassle of doing a full replacement. I think mine had an inverter included which I did not really need.

Maybe post in the computer forum section too, maybe the building section.
