Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Question for Facebook experts:

    How does Facebook 'suggest' friends. I have had a few suggestions that I found very strange(i.e. no mutual friends/interests etc), people that I am happy to avoid!

    If someone has searched for me-is that a criteria for Facebook to suggest them as friends?

    I'm going to take a wild guess and that it's probably if you view the same pages or groups or people or have similar interests or info or perhaps link to the same sites.

    The friend request section includes suggestions made by other friends. However when you're in the main page so to speak there is suggestions in the right side column that facebook suggest as friends of friends. Pretty sure when you search for friends it also lists people who are friends of friends.

    Anywho it ain't a big deal just ignore those you dont want to be friends with ;)
