Ok, a bit time poor, but money hungry so here are a few picks I fancy. Reasoning concise

Selection - Erins Own

Hopefully Kieran 'The Hero' (or more like 'The Mouth') will be in good form!

Hard to see past Erins Own here. A lot of hurling played by the core of this team, but they should have more than enough to power past Ballinhassig.

If Powers were taking odds on Martin Coleman to be top scorer for Ballinhassig, it be worth a punt!!

Selection - Cork Ladies

Should be a close game, but Cork have some fantastic players. Hard to see past their experience. Cork will also be looking for revenge for their recent defeat against Galway in the group stage.

Tullaroan v James Stephens
Selection - James Stephens

The Village, while not as strong as last year, should have a margin to spare here. Tullaroan were relegation finalists last year, while James Stephens may well be looking to push for the title this year, with Shefflin now out for Ballyhale.

Despite Clare winning out Munster, I feel they came up against a Waterford side which were tired after beating Cork 4 nights before. Dublin were blown out of the water against Kilkenny in the Leinster final, but I fancy Dublin to qualify from this one.

All Ireland Senior Hurling Championship - Semi Final
Tipperary v Waterford
Selection - Waterford

I am going to go with Waterford here. I feel that Waterford always seem to be Tipp's bogey team when it really matters (2008, 2006, 2004, 1998).

While Tipp are young and will no doubt hop off the ground, I still think Waterford can keep them contained.

My big fear is the Waterford full back line. Hopefully Connors will pick up McGrath, Murphy will man mark Kelly and Lalor can keep frees to a minimum on Corbett.

I feel Brick Walsh is one of the best centre backs in the game, and should keep either Callaghan or Maher quite.

I think the midfield battle will cancel each other out.

In the Waterford forward line, Mullane should be difficult for either Cahill or Stapleton and I'm hoping Eoin Kelly (Wfd) will hit peak form. Conor O'Mahoney could potentially dominate, but if Moran sticks to him, I'm hoping his presence will be marginal.

A lot of hopes and ifs. However, the current price on the exchanges of 3.75 is too tempting.

Tipp are the favourites, but I'd see the game being a 60:40 game.

Hoping on a good game, should be a good crowd travelling, unlike Kilkenny's 'great supporters' last week, who are too mean and hungry to attend any event bar the All Ireland.

Selection - Mount Sion

Passage have had a good start to this year's championship with big wins over Ballyduff Lower and Dungarvan, followed by a 1 point win over last year's finalists Lismore. I fancy Mount Sion for this game though.

Mount Sion are training hard and eager to get back the county title. Passage have improved greatly this year, but I feel Mount Sion will have 5-6 points to spare. Passage rely on former Mount Sion clubman Eoin Kelly very heavily, and given his poor form, they will be lacking firepower.
