The Curtis Auditorium at CIT Cork School of Music seats a maximum 388 in various configurations. 146 in fixed raked seating.

Give the Opera House a shout (seriously) , with the right price to cover insurance and what not they might arrange something , another alternative contact the Music Dpt in UCC and explain your idea they might offer one of the Booles!

OP is looking for a venue for 3-400 hundred people. Opera House is an almost 1,000 seater house.

Yes but what's not to say they'd rent out the ground level ;) if the price is right of course.

Half moon would be another option.

The house charges are the same - whether you want one row, or both levels, the costs are the same. Fixed charges, staff numbers. It's a union house. Box office, bar, lighting, front of house, backstage, tech, curtain operators all have to be paid out of the rental fee.
