    Has Anyone Been To &*****snip no names allowed****?

    i Was Looking At There "6 Month Braces" Thing and Seemed Cheap Compared to The Usual Quote Starting At 3,000
    So i Was Just Wondering Whats The Difference ..

    And i Also Couldnt Find Them On The Society Of Orthodontists Of Irelands Website, Is This a Bad Sign?

    Hi,

    The practice you mention does not have any Specialist Orthodontists - they are all General Dentists.

    Have a look at this post, explaining what "6 Month Braces" actually are, and why you'd be better off getting an opinion from a properly qualified Specialist Orthodontist before you take the plunge.

    The price may seem like a bargain, but it's still a lot of money and you need to make sure you get the best value for it by getting your treatment carried out to the highest possible standard.

    No names allowed this is a warning,

    6 month braces (limited objective orthodontics) are not a complete course of orthodontic treatment and do not fix al lot of the thing proper braces do, so their is no point comparing the price to conventional braces.
