Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Dont rate these tyres at all !!!

Had one hairy skid last night and put 3 holes in the side wall, for 40 euro a pop i would not recommend them, only had about 600km max on them, will be sticking contis from now on.

They roll very well but I don't think they are suited to Irish roads. I had one and, while it never punctured like yours did, it got cut up fairly easily. Conti 4000s take all sorts of abuse and the "s" version are really grippy.

I was gonna try a set, but heard they were crap in the wet.

Went for Veloflex Corsa 22 instead with some latex tubes ... amazing, I've ditched my tubeless for them !!!

Same price as Conti / Mich. I've only done about 1,200km on them so far but no punctures yet despite some really crap conditions. Roll well and wicked grip.

Have Vittoria Open Corsa Evo KS on both my bikes, TT & Road bike. Love them. Wouldn't change either.

I had the tubular version of these. Nicest tyres I've ever had. But they're really only practical for racing. Not durable enough to hold up to the heavy mileage of training.

+1 with Murph100. Ive used the master and corsa 20's for about a year. Superb with latex tubes. 1 puncture to date. Amazingly low rolling resistance and grip. They do about 1000 Km rear and 1500 front.

I put on a set for the past few races. They seem fast but I'm pretty conservative about tires so not going to ride them too long. Gonna try the GP4000S (on DirkVoodoo's recommendation) when the Corsa's leave me stranded in Summerhill ;) .

I will agree with yous they are a good tyre and do feel great , but they fell to bits on me after 600km max !

    That's a lot of tyres

Agree with general feeling that they( Vittoria`s ) roll really nice and fast on the road but have MINIMAL durability especially to cuts and tears. Side walls particularly vulernable.
I`m no fan of conti GP 4000 though. They do last well but profile squares off in no time. Only tried the standard ones and their grip in wet is rubbish
It`s Michelin Pro 3 Grip or Race for me. Low weight, super rolling , good grip/feel, robust and rarely puncture.

They really are only for racing. Once the thread wears down I swap them onto training wheels. I'd get another 2k on them until the grip is compromised and punctures would be likely to become an issue. I'm coming toward the end of the second set this season on the racing wheels.
I've used the Vittorias and wouldn't be a fan of the build quality. Same for the conti 4000s-they do square off quickly but puncture resistance is good as is rolling resistance. I also had issues with the sidewalls not standing up to the rigors of Irish roads.
