Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Berba looks quite happy as it is, Rooney needs to score, Rooney needs to stay on.

Nah , a hatrick for Berbs would be worth more then a couple for Rooney . . We know Rooney will get his form back . . We also know that a confident Berbs will be a huge plus (many united fans had berbs written off). .

That aside, no need to rush back Rooney at the risk of his injury flaring up. . Next 2 fixtures are winnable without an in form Rooney . .

    Seconds out! Round 2

    What do we think? 4-1

    I'll take a goal.

I know he's not 100% match fit but even towards the end of last season his shooting was bloody awful. I say atleast 4-5 times a game now you see him launch shots miles into the stand.

he never recovered from the injury and united had to risk him . . He has had a good rest now and once the injury has cleared up he will find fitness and form . .

Unlucky nani, should have slotted Rooney in tbh!

What about the "Alive and Kicking" anthem . . I loved it back then . . In all fairness, it was when footballers were men and taking chunks out of opponents was a given . .

Is that Glen Hansard sitting in the stand behind SAF?

Jaysus, Scholes should have walked for that one.

Scholes should just ask the ref before each game for a yellow . . Saves the ref time in having to book him in the game . . When the Ginger ace does his usual bookable foul they can just glance and nod . .

    Should have been a penalty.

Possibly, they have not shown it again so cannot tell, bad miss by Berbs though.

    Good play, bad finish

Definitely should have been a peno, and berba should've buried it!

I take it back. On seeing the replay I don't think it was.

    Scholes has been absolutely brilliant.

an exemplary performance in how to control a game of football.

Barton deserves more of a kicking that that for that Moustache. Deserved yellow though.

Oh come on, he went right through is legs and both feet off the ground, could just as easily have been a red. And it was not a Pen so you probably cannot use that in your conspiracy theories forum.

Joe Cole gets a red. Paul Scholes gets a yellow. The inconsistancy is laughable

Chico for fletcher or scholes, 4-3-3????

Different refs though. If the same ref gave different decisions for the same thing then that is wrong but a lot of reffing is about interpretation. Scholes had both feet off the ground and probably could have gone, so did Cole, this ref did not see it as violent conduct though so he gave a yellow.

Joe Cole's and Paul Scholes were not reds . . Ref was wrong in Pool game and right in ours . . Get over it .

lol @ berb, at least he's enjoying himself.

Great confidence booster for him not to be taken off first though

Suppose now the 'you scouse bastard' chants won't look so sad with Rooney off the pitch.

If United can keep Scholes fit and playing this season, they're going to be very hard to beat.
