    Hey all,

Maybe there is more knowledable people out there, I am wondering if anyone can give us a run down on this new act.

    I often help fundraising,
I am confuse, if I have a people of boxs for in shops and pubs and the like, you know the ones on the counters for spare change,
Do I need a permit from the local garda station or will the charity number be enough?

no you need a garda permit for each individual collecting, and they need to have ID on them. it is an offence to collect for a charity without both of these even if you have the charity's permission.
