Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Spectators watch the light show at the newly opened Akhmad-Hajji Kadyrov stadium in Grozny, on May 11, 2011, just before a football match of the local officials’ team against Diego Maradona 's all-star squad of former internationals. Argentine football legend Diego Maradona and his teammates arrived in Russia's war-torn Chechnya on May 11 for a peculiar exhibition match sponsored by the local strongman leader," former rebel turned Kremlin ally Ramzan Kadyrov.

Wisła it most definitely is not :pac: It's Gryf 95 Słupsk. They play in the Polish League 3. The stadium(if you want to call it that.. ) Is a 15 minute walk from where I stay when I'm in Poland. The part I like - it's address is "ul. Zielona 9, 76-200 Słupsk." ul. Zielona means 'Green Street' :D

They're two hours North of Poznan and a little bit more from Krakow(where Wisła are from).. and thank christ for that.

This will give you an idea of the size of the "stadium" :P

For their size, they can get some impressive displays going. Much more intimidating when you're there. Trust me.

There's such a nasty angry undercurrent in Polish football grounds, but its all part of the atmosphere I suppose.

The second leg of Inter Milan’s Coppa Italia semi-final (aggregate) victory over Roma last night saw the man they call ‘Pupi’, ‘Il Trattore’ and ‘Il Capitano’ make the 1000th appearance of his astounding career, a milestone we saw fit to mark with a little trawl through the photo archives.
Arriving in Europe with Inter in 1995, Zanetti has since proved to be one of the most consistent and consummately professional players that the game has ever borne witness to, still putting in the hard yards (with the exact same haircut) for the Nerazzurri at the grand old age of 37 – and long may he continue to reign.
In chronological order (or, at least, as near as damn it)…

I know they had to change the name because sponsors arent allowed, but why couldnt they use "Lansdowne Road"? Pricks.

I dunno. What would anyone gain from it being called Lansdowne for the night, though?

I am sure its Aviva,I would say they want the name Lansdowne road to fade as fast as possible so they get full bang for there buck.So to have even one game back under the old name would be counter productive.
