Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Apologies if posted already I always remember this one. Sammy Nelson responding to Arsenal fans by giving them some cheek.
Arsenal defender Sammy Nelson put his Football Association Cup Final place in jeopardy on Tuesday night (3-4 -79) by dropping his shorts and turning his backside on the North Bank fans at Highbury, North London.
And Arsenal immediately suspended their Northern Ireland defender and fined him two weeks wages. The Football Association are also looking into Nelson’s actions and may well slap a heavier ban on the player. Nelson had been the a target for abuse form sections of the 30,000 crowd after giving Coventry City the lead through a first-half own goal. When he scored spectacular equaliser in the 77th minute, Nelson ran behind the goal and turned his back towards the North Banks fans, and revealed bare buttocks. The game ended in a 1-1 draw.

This was a cartoon in Spanish football newspaper SPORT. I thought it was pretty good.

It didn't exactly work out for Romero. He got an 82 that day and finished last out of everyone that made the cut :pac:.

€13,556.63 for making the cut.......not bad for 2 days golf then taking the piss for the weekend.

It's pretty shít for a golfer imo. Els got €1.2 million for winning it.

When you factor in flights over from America (or wherever the player is based), renting of a house/hotel room for 5-6 days and then paying the caddy (obviously not Tevez) then you wouldn't be left with too much out of the 13k. Considering his lack of wins recently he can't really afford to be taking the piss.

Those lads dont worry too much about the money, his sponsors probably pay for it all. I wont be shedding any tears for him, 750k (this years winnings) may be rubbish for him but it would do me grand for this year so far and probably stuck in a tax haven :pac:

Sponsors would cover things like clubs and clothes but I'm certain they wouldn't bother with housing or flights. The golfer would have to cover that themselves. It was ridiculous having Tevez on the bag. He wasn't able to read the putts or help in any way. No wonder Romero came last.

Anyway, I didn't mean to drag this off topic.

Joey Barton launched his own website yesterday. He's a picture of what it looks like. It's very nice imo.

This right here to me is what football is all about. Beating your biggest rivals (Shamrock Rovers in Tallaght for the first time!!!) and earning bragging rights. Nothing beats being there live, dont care what anyone says. I'm right behind the lad in the red zip up jacket about to get a dig in the face :)

He's probably just overexcited. Imagine 3 weeks of the prem where every game was reffed by Mark Halsey. That's what the NFL has been going thru lately.

If Celtic had a banner like that, they would be banned up to extinction ;)

But never mind, it's a decent banner :D

As "Yokohama F. Marinos" is an anagram of "Ham Okay. FAI Morons", the FAI have issued a fine to Yokohama FC.
