short answer is I doubt it, long answer is why not download one of the Guitar hero demo's on xbox and see?

Edit : Wait wait isn't the mac guitar just a rebranded xbox one anyway? USB connection? Deffo get a demo and check it.

If it is this one then I have high hopes

I have the pc version of guitar hero and it came with the GH2 wired Xbox360 xplorer, even has the guide button and all. I'd be very surprised if the mac version was any different.
