Eircom announce that the Timahoe/Coolcarrigan is not to be upgraded for Broadband

    Eircom have recently announced they are not going to upgrade a number of their exchanges in Kildare, the coolcarrigan exchange is one of these and is located in Timahoe East Co kildare.

    Now anyone living in this area has very limited choices when it comes to broadband.
    That is unless you want to use satellite, which is expensive to install and use and only has a limit of 3gb per month.

    An Alternative
    However there is a new scheme, (soon to be launched), called the RBS ( Rural broadband scheme ) , if you live in this area and want broadband, then please contact me as we need to get together and make an application under this new scheme as the more people we have the better.
