Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I have started cycling to work using my old 14 yr old mountain bike called a falcon made in England,
I want to treat myself to a nice mountain bike for going to work and I also want to do more cycling in general,
I have no idea what a good bike is, would consider a good 2nd hand or buy from England,
    any ideas

Don't buy a mountain bike if you're mostly going to use it for cycling to work, only get a mountain bike if you actually plan on mountain biking.

I will take your advice thinking of getting something like this, is there any other options to this at better price

Don't have any personal experience with halfords but from reports on here I haven't heard anything bad about the carrera subway and it's supposed to be a very good spec for the price, just make sure they build it properly and that it's the right size because apparently some of the lads in halfords haven't a clue.
