Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I am developing a photo sharing application in order to build on our company image library. Users will be able to upload their own images with a view to us purchasing them. These images will be used for all forms of advertising both domestically and overseas and our terms and conditions will stipulate that all usage rights be passed to us indefinitely. What do you think is a fair price for us to pay per image purchased?

For indefinite rights internationally for all forms of advertising, I'd want at least 300 quid a shot

indefinite international rights .... to use the image in any way shape or form ....and give away copyright (effectively).

hmmm...... depends on the pic ....news image, stock image, building/architecture, photocall , landscape etc

I made about €2K from an image a few months ago (an ordinary team pic of a local soccer team), normally this image (as part of a package) would make me €65.

I still own the rights to the image and can still make money from it.

like I said - it depends on the image - the right news pic can make thousands...a landscape image if marketed correctly - can make thousands, similarly with stock images...if marketed and sold correctly they can make a serious amount of money....or at least a regular amount of income.

I'd be interested in submitting - but maybe not if I'm giving you the rights to every image.
