Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Paul Cowzer lost by choke and Alan Kerslake lost on points. Don't know any more results, got those two results from Paul's facebook page.

Well done Joey! And all the SBG lads and everyone else involved. Would have liked to have made it out but alas, work got in the way.

Great night, great show with some cracking fights.

Was there a 'fight of the night' announced?.

I'd have to give it to the Alan Kerslake fight.. Very exciting.

I met a good few from this forum, sorry I couldn't have spent longer chatting, but it was great to put some real life faces and names to usernames!.

Super night, I hope you all had a good time.

    Thanks go to:
Dave Jones, the man in the middle
Ricardo Moore, the other man in the middle
Foxy, Conor and Andy, the decision makers
    Sommers the hornblower
    R.Kelly the mixmaster
    Colin the cagemaster
and all the other support, medical and dogsbodies without whom, I wouldn't have anyone to give out to.

Most importantly, I made a decision early on to only involve clubs who are professional and respectful in their approach to this sport and to promoters like me. I had 8 pull outs last year in the last week. This year I made 13 match ups and 12 happened. So thank you Team Ryano, Tuatha De Dannan, SBG, PCCB, Hilti Sweden, Shootfighters, Strange Wolves, Point Blank and my guys from Informed Performance.

    My own picks:
Fight of the night Kerslake vs O'Shea. I was in Brendan's corner for this and I loved every minute of it. Alan must have a concrete head. Honorable mention to Edgeworth vs. Carroll

Sub of the night Paddy Hoolahan. I'm struggling for a name- reverse triangle keylock? Hoolaplata? I'm so sorry Joey but on any other night, you'd get it. You just don't see guys submitted from that position!Honorable mention to Joey Breslin

IPMMA had a stinker of a night but we'll be back.

Fair play to Barry for organising this and going ahead with it despite the conditions (even though Dublin didn't look nearly as bad as people were making out  )

Didn't see the fights but the SBG lads seemed to be coming back to the warm up area with wins the majority of the time. They seem to be on a serious roll at the moment, fair play to them.

great 'local' show, SBG will always be on these cards :)

the new c rules were awesome and give promoters like barry the chance to put on exciting fights...and fighters starting off a realistic platform to hone their skills

paddy's sub is actually something i've been teaching for a while now, just not too many people can hit that triangle position from cross sides bottom like paddy can!

joey's sub was perfect...although it did mess up my usual speech on oma plata being a sweep not a sub :P

luke's fight was a perfect demo of why the new c class rules were needed - crash, takedown, punch face forcing opponent to show back allowing sub specialist to...em...sub :D

thought tim looked very slick in main event :)

Great show.....delighted to be involved in it. Was an adventure in itself getting up from Cork, with travel plans being changed at the last minute over the weather, and no corner-men available to come with me!

Thanks again to Barry, Will and the IP crew who looked after me on the night - warm-up, cornering etc.

Really enjoyed my fight with Alan, can't wait to see a video of it. 2 sore bodies the following day I'd imagine!

    Brendan.
