Star Belgrade is the name under which I perform & record music. It's a shortened version of the Serbian football team name, FC Red Star Belgrade.

They were actually quite a good team at one stage - winning what is now called the Champions League, in the early 90's - before the war in the Balkans, the collapse of Yugoslavia & the transfer of many of their players left them virtually star-less.

They were a great team, Prosinecki, Savicevic, Pancev, Mijhailovic etc etc.

Shame the European Cup final they won was one of the worst ever!!!

It was a sad day when high wages replaced labour camps as a effective method of player motivation.
