    I posted this is the Baseball thread, but I would like to open to all in the county.
    Ok I am just trying to gauge the number of people that might be interested in playing baseball in the midlands.
    Firstly this is not a "lets play some baseball" or "looking to join a team thread".
    I know Baseball Ireland exists as I play for one of the clubs.

    I would like to see how many would be interested in playing in the middle of the country. Currently there are teams in Dublin, Wicklow, Cavan, Down Limerick and Clare. I would like to see if people would be interested in forming a team around Laois (my own county), Kilkenny, Offaly Carlow, Tipp etc.

    Equipment, location etc should not be a problem, the league would also help out I am sure. The only issue is numbers.

    We would need 9 for a team playing once a week from April till Sept, but I am sure we could get many more to form a strong club.

    The league is for players 16 years of age and up and previous playing experience is not required, you will learn and pickup the rules etc by taking part.
