    Welcome Freshers. Well, soon to be ones.

    Tomorrow is the day your results come out, and pretty soon the dreaded CAO results arrive in your inbox. The question is...

    Is DIT your first choice?

    Or, where does it place.

    I'd be interested to hear what's the scenario for the newbies this year.

    Erm, not quite- but it's up there in the top 3...
    have event managment down as number 1 but wont get that as i only got 365 and event management is 390!
    Looks like ill be doing retail and services management in aungier street!

    Erm, not quite- but it's up there in the top 3...
    I had DT555 which is Business (international with french) down as number 3.. But that was my first choice because I only put the others down to keep my mam happy! I knew I wouldn get the points for them! I needed 390 and I got 430 so I should be sorted!
    Any advice for starting? :-)

    You want advice- go with the business and language course!

    No, seriously, get involved as much as you can. Get involved in the clubs, and become a known interested regular. As for work, stay on top as much as you can- even for the first while. Sure you will get distracted a bit by the events for freshers, but do also stay on the good side of the lecturers.

    You absolutely will! Rathmines is great because after a couple of months, you practically know the entire campus! And we're all lovely people! :D

    Studying voice. What about you? I still haven't received anything in the post about registration yet. Hopefully it'll all come this week. Really eager to get started. Anyone know what date we actually start?

    1st Year Student ID Card Collection

    Student ID Cards for your Programme(Music DT501) will be available in the Aungier Street campus on:
    • Year 1: Monday, 13th September 2010, 2:00pm

    1st Year Induction Session

    1st Year students of DIT are asked to attend an induction session. This event will take place on:

    • Thursday, 16th September 2010, 9:30am, DIT Rathmines, Theatre
