    Hi all...

Here are my Leaving Cert results of the 30 subs...

    Irish ...B2 (O) :D
    English ...D2 :o
    Maths ...D1
    Geography ...B2
    Classical Studies ...D2
    Hebrew Studies ...E :(
    French ...C1 (O)
    German ...B3 (O)
    Spanish ...C1 (O)
    Italian ...C2 (O)

    Art ...D2
    Applied Maths ...E
    Physics ...D3
    Chemistry ...D3
    Agricultural Science ...B3 :D
    Biology ...A1 :)
    Engineering ...B1 (O) :)
    Construction Studies ...C3
    Accounting ...E
    Business ...B3

    Economics ...D2
    Swedish ...C3
    Japanese ...D1 (O) :p
    Technology ...B2 (O)
    Music ...B1
    History ...B3
    Home Economics ...D2
    Russian ...C2 (O) :D
    Religion ...C2
    Design & Communication Graphics ...D1 (O)

The "(O)" denotes subjects I sat at Ordinary Level. All others were Higher.
In all, there are 17 'honours', 10 'passes', and 3 'fails'.
If you take the best 6 I scored 490 points.
Biggest disappointment is Hebrew. (it would have been a great coup to pass that one... as I had absolutely no help on it, and put huge effort into researching & analysing it)
Greatest triumph is Swedish. (You're only allowed sit the exam if it is your mother tongue!)

The overall results in our school were pretty good too. In general there were smiles, and not too many tears!

Congratulations on your results. How did you get permission to sit the Swedish exam? I'm assuming it's not your mother tongue, so was there a loophole or something else? I was told by the SEC that I couldn't study Dutch because it wasn't my mother tongue.
