Scope advice

Hey lads and ladies if any here, I'm looking to get a new or s/h scope with a bit more mag than my last. I currently have a bushnell 4-12x40 and want a little more mag, I would like something like a 6-18x44 or 6-24x44/50
Problem is my budget is 500 lads:o Any reccomendations welcome.
Hence the reason for my hesitant sale of the Leica.

Small piece of advice lad, without being a smart a**e. Try a search for threads with the titles "Scope recommendations".

Will give you loads of ideas and quick answers.

try mueller, they get great reviews in usa, and can get a great bit of kit for half your budget

Sorry, I could not find it on ebay.ie, however, there are a few models with lower magnification. Maybe you could email the sellers and ask if they have other models.

What is it that you are interested in shooting? Keep in mind the bigger bell means more separation between scope body and bore.

There's a Bushnell 6500 2.4-16x40 going for £340 now and plenty of other second-hand good value scopes.

I got 2 of my current Bushnells from there.

Yeah, I like the fullfield and will be keepinng an eye out surely. cheers for reply.

and if so, is it true that if scope is removed and remounted it will hold its zero to 1/1000th of an inch?:eek: Cool mounts.
