Name the pub

    Can anyone name the pub that used to be on Ellen street, its closed years now, i'm sure it started with V.

    The sign is still above the door on Ellen Street. I thought thats what it was.

    It was the "something" club anyway.

    The other pub on Ellen Street was McGregors though.

    The only two pubs that I can think of that were on Ellen Street at one stage were McGregors and Quinns. The name that comes to mind that begins with V was the Vintage Club but cannot remember this place if it ever even existed.

    Quins was a great spot alright...I enjoyed many a pint in there on those thursday student nights out...good vibes.

    Terrible shame to think of it now just sitting there gathering dust with that whole Opera centre fiasco :rolleyes:

    Talking about pubs beginning with a V who remembers Vodoo rooms , I much preffered it when it was the Desmond Arms man I loved that place

    Just had a look out the window, the sign says " The Vintage Club, House of Quinn"
