    Arts is DN012. According to this you can get in without maths.

    Maths is a matric, you can't get in without it. You can repeat it next year on it's own though and go in as it's a matriculation.

    (iii) A Third Language accepted for Matriculation
    Registration purposes
    (iv), (v) and (vi) Any three Matriculation subjects
    not already selected

    Even if the op can matriculate without maths (it's shameful to say the least, failing past maths is pretty bad now), arts was 360 last year, this year has seen a record number of applicants. Couple this with the current budget constraints with state funding, the debts UCD has accumulated, I think it's fair to say that maths is the least of the op's problems with getting into college this year.
