Agreed, or else an airport hotel if your flying home early and not socialising.

Anywhere in central London is handy enuff foir the tube.train to WHL I always stay in Russell Square area as its handy for tube from Heathrow or just a few stops from Stansted Express. Both the Royal National and the Tavistock are grand. Cheapish for central London. Basic but great location. Details here http://www.imperialhotels.co.uk

    load's of hotel's near the lane. depend's what your'e looking for:D
the best and only a 10sterling cab away for two is
Holiday Inn Express London Chingford, Waltham Forest
all this rubbish about central london  look on any hotel site and then look east/north east
e.g harlow/woodford/waltham abbey/gants hill/ load's of options all only a bus journey away from the lane and a lot safer than london
like i said depends what youre looking for=if you wan't a plastic irish bar go centre of london because you won't find anything else:D

I'd recommend the Jury's Inn in Islington, it is in Goon territory but as long as you aren't wearing colours you'd be alright. There's loads of options for a beer or bite to eat nearby, very nice place to go out.

Anybody stay at the Athena hotel before. Looks like an option for us alright. Quite cheap at £55 for two nights.

    Kakee,
My uncle and aunt, John (Yido) and Noreen Conway, run the Roseview Hotel at Muswell Hill.
It is a nice hotel and in a good location. Rates are reasonable and a Great Breakfast as well!
You can fly into Stansted and get the train to Tottenham Hale. Then you can get a 10mins taxi ride to the hotel.
You can walk down to Alexander Palace and take a 10mins bus ride to the game or my uncle will organise a taxi for you.
    Give them a ring on 0044 20 83652535.

    Kind Regards,
    John

At the bottom of Muswell Hill you can take W3 Bus all the way to White Hart Lane/Tottenham High Road. Should take no more than 10-15 minutes.
