Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Where do you guys buy your memory cards?

Is it worth buying online for things like SD Cards and USB Sticks?

    Any sites to recommend?

    Thanks!

    Dean

7dayshop.com have always been reliable for me. I generally buy kingston USB keys and fuji or minolta Memory cards for my cameras.

www.shop4memory.com are an Irish site and don't charge for delivery. I have found them very reliable.

http://www.dealextreme.com/ is also another good site for memory, cheap as chips and no delivery charges .... they take payment via paypal too.

http://www.dealextreme.com/ generally chinese copies of the chips and not necessarily the size that they say they are. I would worry about getting a 16 gig that would actually hold 16 gigs of files. They are cheap though some of the things I would get from deal extreme would be LEDs or high power magnets. Very good value but I would not get memory from there.

Amazon.co.uk ...I've bought many Sandisk CF cards from here without issue and generally with free shipping too. I've bought a few class 6 SDHC cards for my d80 from ebay for very, very low prices and have no problems with them either (once you buy from a fairly reputable seller).
MyMemory.co.uk tend to do good deals on USB sticks...I've bought a few 16GB versions for €20 ea.

And they're made with the cheapest of the cheapest possible electronics, So you can guarantee they probably won't be as good as the likes of kingston/sandisk that have warranties...
