Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Problems Far Cry 2

    I was thinking of picking up Far Cry 2 cheap for the 360 as i'm finishing up some of my backlog & want a game while waiting for Mafia 2 & Halo Reach.I've heard Far Cry 2 has got difficulty spikes & problems with Corrupt Saves.If you have this game could you comment on the positives & the negatives of it.

    The onley bad thing is traveling to places is a pain with all the rebel road blocks and patroles and when ya drop a wepon and pick it up agen its gona break after about 3 mags other than that its epic

    The save glitch was sorted out with a patch, so just download the update when you install the game. I recommend installing it to your HD, as there's a lot of loading to it.

    Excellent game, very enjoyable and one of the best multiplayer experiences out there with the map creator. There's so many maps created by players, that you could never play the same one twice, if you wanted.

    I really liked it. The only negative as said above is the driving everywhere. The good thing about this game is it actually takes a while to finish, unlike alot of games.

    I got put off by not knowing who to shoot, and why some people hated me so much. It's quite hard too, but I know I'll go back...someday.

    I hoard all the games I buy, even if I never touch them again. I traded FC2 the second I finished it. I couldn't stand to look at the box. I found it tedious, that the mechanics were broken and that the game cheated. Didn't really try the multiplayer.
