    Hey folks im after been offered a fulltime course in college that would benefit me greatly in my job when i finish.I also working full time in a permanent job,so i would have to give up the job to do the course,I appled for the grant but i never changed my living address which is a big problem so now i cant apply as a independant candidate so must likely i will get nothing as both my parents are working !!!Im working in a job at the minute that is soul destroying and tedious in that my head is ready to explode,Ive been told that i can do a nightcourse which is on one night a week for the 3 years,which would get me up on the ladder but i dont know if i could manage another 3 weeks in that job never mind 3 years. People at work are telling me im absoultly mad to stay there and to go do the course,while now my parents think im crazy to give up a permanent job in this difficult times,as there concerned that when i get my degree i might not be able to get any job!!! im been pulled in all directions Help please

    Are you over 23? - maybe you should consider waiting a year - if you are over 23 and you change your address now then you can be considered for a grant in 2011/2012 as an independent mature candidate

    It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.
