Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Couple of questions

    Hi,

I am currently on JSA but have a temporary job coming up in September. The thing is the job is only for 12 weeks.

Firstly when I sign off do I need to inform the Social Welfare that the job is only temporary?

I am working for two weeks then the job is closed for a week so there will be no work will I be able to get social welfare for this week?

Finally, when I sadly have to go back on Social Welfare after the work finishes up will I have to go through the whole process of interviews, mean testing and an 8 week wait again? If the dole criteria is changed while I'm working in the new budget could I end up getting less?

    Thanks

    M

I would advise you to inform social welfare that the work is only or 12 weeks.
You should also state that you will be off for a week during this period as the companys will be closed for that week. If your employment is insurable you should not have to go through the means test again when you finish.
