Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

A very basic question

A friend wants to know how to connect up his laptop to his tv (not LCD, older style flatscreen). I know the above is probably a very basic question but what do you need to do? He bought the cable from a tv store so he has that. Do you need to adjust settings on the tv or laptop or both.

    Thanks

What type of connections are they....vga, hdmi?

He should try pressing the Fn key plus one of the F keys (i.e. F3,F4,F5 etc). I had an old dell that displayed a icon on the F5 key, which allowed me to switch from laptop to monitor view..check if he has any icon like that on they keys. Consult the manual as they say!
