    Hi all.
Just a quick question, was wondering if anyone here is allergic to E45? Used it on my arm and have a horrible rash, went to doctor and he rubbished the idea that it was the e45 which had caused the rash. He prescribed me with Betnovate cream which seems to have just made the rash worse. From googling this it seems that some people are allergic to liquid paraffin, just wondering if there is anybody on here with any experience in this? Thanks :)

Likelihood of an allergy to Liquid Paraffin is so small as to be non-existant.
Much more likely would be an allergy to Lanolin.

E45 has lanolin in it, so do things like sudocrem. it's a great moisturiser but it's gonna itch in anyone allergic to wool.
