Putting all my points in guns + speech (2-1) ratio... good/bad idea ?

Is the crafting system any good ? im only level 8 atm.

Can you only have one follower at a time?I just tried to recruit boone and could'nt.........I thought you could have more than 1 follower at a time.

. Just did it there tonight and, boy-oh-boy, am I gonna be loaded when I sell all their stuff!:D I think it only affects one quest which I didn't mind cos the alternative wasn't in keeping with my good character!!:pac:

If anyone wants to, what I did was

I had a muffled sniper rifle and hit the four guards at the two doors with headshots. The first two I took were the ones at the locked door. Then the second two at the door you just came in. There's a guard walks by them, I took him out next as he walked toward the back wall. Then I opened a door which you don't need a key for, inot the jacks, which I was going to run to from gloria and jean-baptiste. Laid a few mines on the steps, shot them and ran back.

Sorry bout that little ramble, I'm just delighted at the prospect of having 20k+ for the first time ever!! :P

I think speech, science and lockpicking are the most important.

In Freeside I was able to have a Kings member and Veronica.

Try this

On occasion, the player might need to try resetting the file cache because of performance issues or other random problems...to do this, the player must hold the "Left Bumper," "Right Bumper" and "X" buttons simultaneously while the game is booting.

If that doesn't help then clear the xbox system cache (gets rid of all patches for all games) and load up the game declining the patches. See what happens and save it as a new save if it works.

Vault 11, sacrafice chamber, was not expecting an ambush like that! :P Think i may leave it for a while and come back to it

Is the level cap 30? Just at level 28 now.

Also does anyone know if the Anti material rifle is better than the Gobi campaign sniper rifle?

You could try installing it to the hard drive to see if that helps?

I've also noticed that it seems to crash more if you aren't connected to the net. Don't know why but I was having problem with my net connection over the last 2 days and sometimes when it went offline the game crashed.

The resetting the cache thing is also worth a try. When I was playing red dead, doing this when starting to play really speeded up loading times

Thanks, forgot about that. I cleared the game cache and console cache but it's still crashing.

Installed it to the harddrive just to see if it was an issue with the disc reading, nope.

I'm totally stumped with this one!

To anyone who hasn't bought this yet on the 360, you might want to hang on a bit. This is a game ruining bug.

Ran into the corrupted save game bug caused by the "Come Fly With Me" quest. I only had two saves, and both were after completing that quest, couldnt load either of them without crashing

Luckly there were two .bak saves (must be created by the game) in the save game folder which were only about 45mins back, phew!

Still a really ****ty bug.

I found a save two hours previous to the crash which seems to be working. Hurrah! So whatever happened just after caused it somehow. This is what I was doing which I think caused the crash. Might want to keep an eye out-

I was working on a White Glove Society quest in the Ultra-Lux. Was trying to rescue the boy that they wanted to eat for dinner.

Moriarty was about to give his speech and I was going to tell everyone that they weren't really eating a person. At this point I told Boone to wait in a different room as he kept attacking some of the guards.

I completed that section of the quest and Moriarty ran off. I brought the boy back out to his father. I'd forgotten about Boone and left him down in the kitchen.

After this any time I went back into a casino it would crash. So it may be either something to do with that quest or even leaving Boone behind in the ultra-lux.

Rather than do all the above, this time I didn't complete the quest and ran out of the Ultra-Lux with Boone and I was still able to go into any casino without it crashing. I think to be safe I'm just going to get rid of Boone now and go with one of the other characters

Entered somewhere called

Dead Wind Cavern

and my god there were loads and loads of

Deathclaws

in there!

Managed to clear them out and there's absolutely nothing in there.

Load times on the 360 doin my nut. Reckon I'm up to about a minute on some of them, not good when you're only going from door to door :mad::(.

On the 360 i find that the longer i play in one session the longer the load times get. I usually stop playing when the load times get to long and pick it up later...

Getting closer and closer to the strip. Skirting around the issue

of getting a passport.

Not specifically looking for one but the option to buy one has appeared. Getting loads of missions now. Maybe too many. I presume there are loads of missions still to get once I make it onto the strip?

One of the things that are annoying me at this stage of the game is the missions that are given to you but dont appear in your quests log. But only appear in the misc tab of the pipboy. Hard to keep track of those ones.

Dunno know how many more crashes and bugs I can put up with tbh.

Playing Fallout: New Vegas is like being in an abusive relationship with a supermodel. You know you shouldn't be putting up with the amount of cr@p you are, but you can't help it as she is so damn fine.

Is it just me, or do the crashes get more and more frequent the further into the game you go?

When I started playing, I could for hours without a problem, now, about 30 hours in, I'm lucky to an hours solid playtime out of it.

If this was anything else I'd be asking for my ****ing money back, but it's Fallout...

For anyone playing this on the pc with problems check out the first mod here. Made the game perfectly playable for me, before it was crashing with a terrible frame rate. Now shes perfect!

Anoyone get the pimped out version of the Pip Boy yet? I think you need the Wild Wasteland perk to get it though.

I was able to get it by

getting the Omertas to agree to buy weapons of Mick at Mick and Ralphs on Freeside. When i told mick that the Omertas had agreed to buy off him he gave me the Pimp Boy as a reward.:D
