Yup I never had it in the first place.

I didnt manage to kill benny in the tops so I didnt get it then. I was exploring around the gaff when boon gave me an option to go to the fort. When I arrived we just started massacring every legion in sight including Caesar before I had talked to him.

Now I cant find his body and benny doesnt have it. Theres a footlocker in caesars tent thats locked with a very hard lock, was kinda hoping its in there?

No freezes at all for 20 hours and now it keeps doing it near Nelson.

I's on his corpse I'm afraid. you'll either have to find his body or if you're on the PC, you could use a cheat.

Well there are several options.

1. player.additem 1164fb 1 This should add the platinum chip to your inventory.
2.prid 00121ff0 then type moveto player This will place Caesar's body in front of you.

These should work but I haven't tried them myself (nor can I anymore ).

Press ¬ to open the console and try typing "player.additem 1164fb 1" without the quote marks.

It started becoming available from vendors when I hit level 18 or 20. Both the BOS (I was a full member) and the Gun Runners near New Vegas had it for sale.

wtf... i saved my game in vault 11 and now it wont reload my game! :mad: fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck.

It's saying that it cant download the necessary items.

Its ok, didnt even need to cheat. Found caesars corpse(or what was left of it) his arm was in right next to another corpse I had already searched. God dam bloody mess perk!!!!

I suppose they would. But if Patricide hadn't found Caesar's body, it would be the only way of progressing the main quest. The moving his body to you is a more "honest" cheat, if you know what I mean. Plus there are several game-ruining bugs that may occur in the game that can only be overcome by console commands. Personally, I wouldn't be too bothered about achievements anyway.

Lol that's the exact problem I had with bloody mess in the previous game. No way I was going to choose it in this one.

But plus 5 damage to all opponents makes it worth while. Plus its fun to see people explode!

True the extra damage is handy but at the risk of spending hours searching the gibs of multiple exploded enemies for one paticular thing I think I'll let it go.

Also I'm more a fan of just exploding heads now rather than the whole thing.

I have become quite the fan of "the chopper" even with a relatively low melee stat, I'm chopping the wings off cazadors, it's fun to see then wingless on the ground

Anti Material Rifle and Vipers from a distance, the ruins around vegas are a great spot for taking them out and seeing their little heads complode.

Agree that the karma system is a bit borked. Mine gravitates towards very good just by killing evil characters that attack me, or who I want to loot. Nothing especially virtuous about killing in self-defence or to get their gear, but the game thinks I'm a saint for it [even though I kill the occasional neutral and steal lots]. They should change it so you only get good karma for charitable acts.

Also agree that companions are completely overpowered. The practical benefit of extra carrying capacity means I still use them though.

I had explored most of the map south of New Vegas, doing loads of the quests you find down there. Finally make it to New Vegas and visit all the casinos and pick up the main storyline. I get as far as

Yes Man and the choice about what to do with the Platinum Chip

, thinking that I've probably got more than half way through the game.

Play on a bit more and my quest list has expanded again to about 10 active ones! This game is so big it's ridiculous.

I'm level 23 or so now, just wondering what armour people have used up to this point? I'm using the

Van Graff combat armour

which seems good but just wondering what I might be missing. Laser Rifle with scope and +dam mod is sick good for quick fire sniping.

I'm the same as you only I've also explored the north and still haven't decided with the yes man yet, epic procrastination

I'm using mark 2 reinforced combat armor, gauss rifle , the liberator, 10mm with mods and a lazer pistol

Running around in chinese stealth armour myself knocks my stealth up to about 60 whixh is ok, use it mainly for crouching\sniping with the antimaterial or gobi campaign sniper. Which went well in dead wind cavern.

Veronica the Chainsaw? She's a lunatic with it! Anytime there are hostiles nearby I hear it starting to buzz and before I know it I'm getting XP points all over the place

A few of caesars guys at cottonwood cove or the camp have them, the vault 3 one is a unique chainsaw

The game now refuses to load my save in vault 22. Looks like im back about 3 hours.
