Pippin went to get a haircut today from the lovely Katie who adopted Lexi from me a while back. Katie is lovely and very good with the dogs!

With the lovely Katie! He looks like an Akita pup now :D. She had to do it by hand as she was worried he would be afraid of the clippers. He's a poser ;).

Aw, that's lovely. Pippin looks like a real character.

EGAR, in the first picture, can I ask what kind of dog is the b/w one behind the stair gate? (S)He is gorgeous.

That is Lexi, an AmBull x whom I had taken in in 2008 as a pup after he recovered from a broken leg. Katie adopted him and as you can see he grew up into a very handsome big boy!

Lexi here at EGAR 2 years ago:

He goes to work with Katie every day!

Does that dog have no eyes?

As the caption says: Pippin the blind Spitz at the groomers

He was dumped on me late last year when he was tiny. He suffered from Microphthalmia and had tiny dysfunctional eyes which had to be removed and the eyelids stitched shut to prevent a.) growth on the tiny eyes and b) entropia. He has no problem with his "disability" is a gutsy little fellow and will soon be going to his new home in Cork ;).
