    I admit that i was tricked into believing that tubridy was going but be a star of irish radio and tv. However, he has been shown to be lacking in talent. I have admitted i made a mistake and apologised to poly, mrsdewinter, jonathonanon and jimmynokia, so please stop beating that drum.

    Ps: Has anyone else noticed that he is constantly talking about the titanic. Is this the subject for his latest book? It would suit him as he could gab away about irish-america, royalty + it is a very mor and safe area.

    He will never speak about himself in public either,and the Hmm and OH god thing is the new format,much to say shut up and let the caller do all the talking,there was two articles of late in the indo.never got a chance to post them..

    He has nothing but contempt for twitter now. It is obvious that it was just a tool for self-promotion. Barely six months ago he structured his whole show around twitter yet now it is irrelevant. He is a fake.

    "I wasn't surprised about Sile Seoige's tweet about the show," insisted Tubridy today. "No, I don't care. I actually don't care."

    Translated as: "I don't care what you small people think. I will churn out any old rubbish and you all can go to hell if you don't like it."

    Is there any news of him getting his salary cut? Considering the drops he has been responsible for on 2fm and the LLS, he should be seeing a big fall in his pay-packet.

    Tubridy returned from his Christmas break on 9th January, now he is taking a week off. I will be keeping track of his total holidays for the year. My guess is that he takes close to 13 weeks off per year, which is close to what one would expect for a workaholic.

    Tubbers uses facebook now,ive no account for it nor do i want one..

    On those holidays take into consideration,moonlighting for the bbc,book signings,and other paid events to attend..

    I should probably post this in the annoying ad thread aswell but has anybody heard the new promo ad for tubs show. A woman gets into a taxi and bursts out laughing, when the taxi driver asks what's wrong she says that she's laughing at Ryan because he is so funny!! I would never have classed tubs as a comedian by any stretch of the imagination. I wonder is it be possible that somebody in rte advertising has a sense of humour because he certainly is a laughingstock!!

    Yeah i laugh at him all the time!!

    Fair play to Noel Gallagher though, he overlooked tubs sillyness and gave a good interview.

    Weeks after the diminutive Ms Seoige took a pop at the ailing Late Late Show, Tubridy has hit back with a cruel barb of his own.
    Tubridy has described Ms Seoige as a "small thing" in a veiled attack over her jibes.

    After reading today that Sile Seoige has cancer. Hope tubridy has the decency to make a public apology to Sile Seoige tomorrow morning on radio show. I think we all know that he won't have the courage to do so, instead he will focus on jedward or affect sympathy and take advantage of members of the public in desperate situations in order to boost his scandalously low audience figures.

    I ain't here to defend Mr Tubs, but he did not refer to Sile as a 'small thing' at least not in that article he didn't.
    For those how can read he described the tweet by her as a small thing. Huge difference. I can understand the Herald trying to twist it as they are in the business of selling papers and would never let the truth get in the way of a good story, but if your going to spread this rubbish at least read it first!

    Please don't twist things up. I never said he should apologise for Sile Seoige having cancer. An apology should be submitted by him for his behaviour towards her. Anyway we all know that he will just avoid the matter. It is much easier for him to do so now as he no longer reviews the papers. It probably would have been known in media circles that Sile had cancer, that is where the problem lies for tubridy, ie. if you knew someone had cancer you would behave with much more sensitivity and decorum.

    i'm not going to clog up page making same point over and over. here is my view

    1.he knew she had cancer then,

    2.he dismissed her as a small thing

    That's my view if people are happy with that behaviour then ok. But look at the barry andrews in the last dail if you think that clan wouldnt sink so low. If a person criticises a ff member they will go for the throat. He knew that she was weak, that is why he attacked her.

    I think he would have known about Sile having cancer. They both move in media circles. I listened for 5 minutes this morning and typically he was glorifying jedward and talking about "hyper kids on smarties". People are sick of him.

    Sorry gherital but your behaviour on this forum is suspicious to say the least. You entered this thread thinking Tubs is the second coming, within 24 hours you become his arch nemesis, and over the last while your posts have been clutching at so many straws that one might think you are somehow trying to derail the thread.....

    Man....one just has to listen to tubs for 5 minutes to hear that he is so inept at what he does that you don't have to make it up!
