eircom uses adsl so as a result the d/l will always be greater than the upload.With adsl on a very good connection the upload will only be about 10% of the download.

a mate of mine is with irish bogband and has a 3.5 meg d/l with a 3.5 u/l.Not to sure what type of tech that company uses.

the max size of a data packet is only 64kb so u/l isnt really an issue unless you are rendering video:)which you are!

EDIT: played for years online with a 2meg package with eircom and only ever suffered lag really when i played on us servers

There are no subscriber requirements, you just have to have original content and a good interaction with the community

ha no, its the 2010 model but brand new, got a great deal on it so scrapped my polo for it, it does have voice controlled bluetooth which is pretty cool. and the cars voice is sexy :pac:
