Been reliving the good days over the last 2 days in a time when music wasn't the same regurgitated crap we hear now.

I could marry you! My friends all listen to this new stuff and think I'm the one with the bad taste of music!

Top five bands name them there?

I need to get a new tv for gaming. 32in

I heard today from a pal, that plasma tvs are actually better than lcd for gaming.

Is there any truth in that?

No they're not they are actually worse .
I might have the figures wrong here but from what i know , you have to watch normal tv on plamas's for at least 100 hours before you start gaming , from what i 've heard , many plasma's are left with a still image.

Use way more power, die a lot quicker and are really bad on the eyes

    Avoid them

Ya. They've done alot of work remedying the image burn problem though. Was reading that last night that you kinda need to break them in still :p. I've read and heard though, that purists tend to go for plasmas. Their refresh rate is inherently ~ 600hz too which is brilliant for fast moving pictures.(gaming/sport).

Go get yourself a panasonic G20

Now I got at much larger Toshiba for the auld lad a few years back & its quality.

This one seems very cheap, a bit too cheap maybe?

Errr... right a quick rundown. Landed in LA, dropped bags, changed, went to Universal Studios for the evening, got up early next morning, spent the day at the park, went on all the rides, got to hang around backstage after the Waterworld and Terminator 2 stunt shows and talk to some of the stunt guys and gals who were all really nice (the guy who plays John Connor in the T2 stage show was Sam Worthingtons cgi stunt double on Avatar, I asked him if James Cameron is really as mental as he's meant to be, he said yes, yes he is lol) went on The Simpsons ride 4 times cos its ****in awesome.

Went to San Diego zoo, took a jeep ride around the red rock mountains in Sedona, flew over the Grand Canyon in a helicopter, partied like a madman in Vegas, saw Route 66, did 2 nights of Halloween parting in San Fran, saw Alcatraz, rode the cable cars, watched the Giants win the World Series (go Giants!) and then clapped out on a plane for 11hrs back home, what a trip, planning my next one already :D

Saw most of the first ep in the states, it is indeed cool, gotta love hotels with cable, altohugh I was an episode behind on Boardwalk Empire so couldnt watch it, have to catch up on 3 episodes of that now. I wasnt exactly doing a lot of tv watching when I was there tbh. Except for game 5 of the World Series, cos I was in a bar at the time, place went absolutely bananas when they won it.

Sadly no, its frowned upon apparently. Oh and a tip to anyone who hasnt been to the States from here, American women LOVE Irish accents, I pulled women who wouldnt normally chat to me purely becuase they overheard me talk. So play up your accent a bit and they'll be all over ya :D
