Yeah, there was flooding in Thailand recently and a load of HDD factories were damaged, so the supply line is drying up a bit. The prices probably won't get back to normal til March/April next year

so figures released today, that Mw3 sold 6.4 million copies of the game in 24 hours.

Battlefield sold 5 million copies in a week.

I just wanted to put this here to piss off all the feckers that have been battlefield trolling in here..

BF was always gonna fall short this time around and I imagine for another few years(I know they don't release every year) at the very least it'll be the same case. Said it a billion times, but they should taken advantage of the summer market. That was the way to really expand their fanbase.For a good few including myself previously, I'm burned out on COD certainly by the summer. If BF3 was released in say June, I'd have played that only. Brave but a tad foolish in their approach to take on COD this time around.

edit - The only thing wrong with BF3 IMHO is the squad(party) system which is crap due to the fact it puts your squad on the other team sometimes, be it 1 person or 3.

BF3 is a fantastic game, quite a few... but not all of their fans who post on here are hypocrites however

Are you sure they are talking about sales though? I don't think they are that stupid but perhaps I'am wrong. I took their comment in re: gameplay and tbh, from my perspective, I can't deny I didn't enjoy my initial time on BF3 more than MW3.

I think most are talking about gameplay, but anyone who was thinking before both games came out, "BF3 is gonna finish COD for good, its gonna be the true COD killer" etc were just deluded, COD has a much bigger audience. Having said that, I haven't played both games extensively, so I can't comment on which is better.

neither are "better" tbh.. they're just too different to compare. Both lack any sort of innovation so you can't really use that as a measuring tool. The only thing you can really go by is sales.. but like every form of entertainment, sales/views/fans don't always favor the "best", skyrim or zelda will no doubt be the games of the year but they wont get close to the sales of either BF3 or CoD.

I think both games are "OK", wouldn't consider either of them great games, at least they aren't for me... but again, the only games in both series that i consider great games are CoD2 + BF2, black ops was good and the rest are average imo... probably the rose tinted glasses and all that tho...i guess.

Too busy playing wow ya cont ya ! It runs pretty well on PS3... but you'd miss out on all the mods and **** you can get on the PC when they come out.

Had an hour to spare that I did not want to play on the xbox, so I watched a few gameplay video for the first time in months. Xboxahoy is still awesome, but two things I noticed on other channels/videos in general really annoy me.

The biggest thing is the obligation for some schmuck to yell out "Peace!!!" at the end of every fecking video he does at double the volume of the explosions in game. Not only is this f**king annoying, but I just do not get the bloody idea. It's a video about shooting people, in the face. Do they think they are some rapper from the Bronks? The logic escapes me.

Secondly is the description bar in youtube. Very few people actually use the description box for what it is. Instead they fill it with links to boring videos I do not want to watch and pack it with tags that are completely irrelevant. I mean FFS, I do not know how many of these tagwhores have 'Halo Reach' and 'BF3' among others in their description when the video is MW3 exclusive.


But the worst of description spam is Machinima.

Machinimas always been like that. I watch very few channels on youtube these days, almost no CoD ones cos that "community" is just full of ****. I'll watch the odd one alright, but most channels that just upload CoD? Not for me these days. Love a bitta variety. The only channel I watch Religiously is Yogscast, and thats cos of the wide variety of games they play, how funny they are, and how they don't come off as greedy cúnts. The amount of hours I've spent watching their videos is ridiculous :P
