I have Biochem on Wed, Organic Chem on Tues next, and Micro on Thurs next. Micro should be easy peasy, the lecturer is a legend and gave us 6 questions and out of those 3 will come up. He also tells us these stories of him playing BFBC2 with the sniper and all that jazz :pac:

Bought myself the Alien blu-ray boxset with my xmas hmv vouchers, sooooo many special features on one disc, tis awesome, and thats it, I'm officially never buying these movies again lol, four versions is enough.

Aliens is still fcuking awesome, never get sick of watching that movie.

Maybe it's just me here and trust me when I say I couldn't care from a personal standpoint, but I think it's a tad crummy how this one kid with generic gameplay and 'meh' commentary after a few months uploading vids, hits 10K subs within a blink of an eye with a single shoutout.

When I was listening to PKA live, I presumed the kid was making vids for a while as he was close to tears it sounded like. He's been making vids since Sept last year. I feel sorry for those who have actually put in the time and effort over years to get 1k, 5k or 10k subs.

I dunno, it's all rather baffling to me.

Tell me about it ! Although i've only been at it for about the same amount of time and i dont do any commentaries or anything, it takes alot more effort putting together a montage, my next one has taken me a while to put together (Mostly gathering and recording the clips) but i doubt i'll get more than 300 or 400 views on it. Im happy with the views i get and my 97 subs tho.

Kersmash and toomey, even tho they've only done 3 or 4 videos, are far better commentators than this kid but i doubt they'd ever get 10k subs without a major shoutout like that.

Bingo. Gameplay does very little for me as I'm sure most know other than Sandy Ravage(despite me dare questioning his vids at times ) and a few other mainstream Youtubers. If you are interesting, insightful, funny and thought provoking like a Woody, Seananners or Hutch that appeals to me so SO much more.

Tbh, this isn't me playing devil's advocate here but all the lads here are far superior commentators, even the ones I'm not subbed to. There is no two ways about it.

I'm glad montages are making a revival in general too. I love the editing aspect of it all(massive part of the reason I loved watched Frags) and the vid I posted in the Post your Vid, Pic yesterday really shows what can be achieved. That vid could have been a pub match and it still would have been epic due to the editing. I think COD4 really harmed the whole aspect of montages with the sniper lobbies and set ups. But lately there has been a steady stream coming through of very good quality montages. I for one look forward to your montage anyway

That was an awesome video tbh, loved it. Im not really a fan of sniping only montages, theres a few that are really good with insane editing. Hopefully i get this rendered by tuesday or wednesday.

RE: That PKA kid, I totally agree with you Ade, at first it was kinda cool, oh look they helped this kid out, but now it's taking the piss, his commentaries are sub par(not saying any i've done have been any better) so surely someone who puts more work and has a better standard of videos would have deserved the exposure that bit more.

In other news, m PVR hasn't arrived yet, but when it does I'll be banging stuff out like there's no tomorrow. My contract in work is up in Feb, so I'll have more free time to work on em. Gonna get some help from my brother too, he's pretty experienced(well, more than I am) with Sony Vegas and Photoshop. I just specialise in taking my friends heads and putting them on other peoples bodies.

I should probably throw it out there that all this is part of my overall training for the Adidas Series and I'm not just doing a 5 mile run

5k in July, 10k in August and the mother fudger Half Marathon in September.

Would like to do 1,000 km through the year!

Lads, if any of you on PS3 have the one and only COD4 map pack and would be willing to let me download them could you PM moi please. I will let ya's download the BOPS Strike map pack from my profile thus saving you money obviously.

I really miss playing Broadcast, Chinatown, Creek and even Warehouse/Killhouse/whatever it's called and will be putting more time into COD4 very soon(I miss the times playing SnD, when it was fun).

I used to own them but YLOD occurred as some might remember.
