Yeah, i'll be finishing my degree next year doing software engineering. Tho i'll be working tech support at my old school for this, pretty much no software placements in newry Will be doing some networking and editing projects for them tho, which should be cool

Day off. So I went around to my mates for an hour and played Crysis 2. Wow.

Firstly, anyone who has played Crysis(1) I bet will have enjoyed that and thus will enjoy this.

The movement will take some getting used to again, too many hours of COD over the past 5 years has impacted me taking to other FPS games probably. For example I really like Battlefield(1943 is ace) 2 but I just wished it had the movement of COD, even with the sensitivity upped I couldn't get comfortable playing it. Sensitivity had to be up from my COD 3 sensitivity to 7 in Crysis 2. It still didn't feel entirely crisp but the time needs to put into the game a bit more than what I experienced. Plus it's a beta of course so I'm sure much will be improved upon on.

Playing TDM, my scores went like this -
10-15, 22-2 and 33-7. Those last 2 games I changed the sensitivity.

Other bits of note -

Dedicated Servers made me pre-fire.

Skyline is one beautiful map and an instant favorite of mine in any of FPS game. I looked at it and within 10 seconds knew I was going to love it, similar to that of Strike, Crash, District, Terminal, Afghan, Favela, Launch and Summit from COD. Hard to explain but it's a feel good factor playing these maps and best example in recent times is the BLOPs maps especially Summit which I just relish playing

The energy factor is a great little feature as is the slide, mega jump and smash attack too.

The Potter cloak as I'll refer to it good when people use it to a minimum(certain moments) but knowing the gaming community as it is. It will become a nuisance. There was one guy on the enemy team who constantly used it who kept killing me. You don't go entirely invisible as such btw, there is a like a water rippling effect or an outline of it so if you have eyes like a hawk you'll do well.

All in all. I'll be putting a lot of hours into this when it comes out, beta and full version.
