Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Everton XI: Howard, Hibbert, Baines, Jagielka, Distin, Heitinga, Bilyaletdinov, Arteta, Cahill, Pienaar, Beckford

    Angry that in Neville's absence Coleman still can't get in the team.

    Do you know do other Everton fans not from Ireland think as highly of him? Just curious

    He's very highly thought of over there. Pretty much every Evertonian doesn't want Hibbert anywhere near our first XI and believe that Neville should be stepping aside this season.

    Yes, he's very highly rated amongst the local fans also, every bit as much as over here. You'll only have to see him play once to see that he will be a top, top player for Ireland in a few years.

    TEAM NEWS - Harry Redknapp makes five changes to the team that started against Young Boys on Tuesday. In come Younes Kaboul, Tom Huddlestone, Jermaine Jenas, Aaron Lennon and Peter Crouch for Sebastien Bassong, Luka Modric, Roman Pavlyuchenko, Giovani and Jermain Defoe. As expected, Robbie Keane, JD, Modric, Pav and Gio all miss out through injury. :(

    STARTING XI -
    Gomes;
    Corluka, Dawson, Kaboul, Assou-Ekotto;
    Lennon, Palacios, Jenas, Huddlestone, Bale;
    Crouch.

    SUBS - Alnwick, Naughton, Bassong, Kranjcar, Rose, Walker, Livermore.

    Stoke will give them quite a game I think.

    EVERTON v WOLVES LINE-UPS
    Everton: Howard, Hibbert, Jagielka, Distin, Baines, Pienaar, Heitinga, Arteta, Bilyaletdinov, Cahill, Beckford.
    Subs: Mucha, Saha, Gueye, Osman, Coleman, Fellaini, Rodwell.

    Wolves: Hahnemann, Foley, Berra, Craddock, Elokobi, Jarvis, Henry, David Jones, Ward, Ebanks-Blake, Doyle.
    Subs: Hennessey, Stearman, Halford, Keogh, Milijas, Zubar, Guedioura.

    Bah no Fletcher, otherwise full strength pretty much.

    :mad: Just when you think you've seen the last of Jenas, he pops up again in the starting XI! Very inexperienced bench.

    I really thought we'd put Kranjcar behind Crouch:(

    I really thought we'd put Kranjcar behind Crouch:(

    Ya so did I. But I see the logic of leaving him on the bench.... if he had started we'd have no one on the bench who could come on and change the game.

    We don't have any other striker available for us and people laugh at Harry saying he just buys a tonne of strikers:( Dont have a good feeling about this match

    Pablo Barrera looks the business. How the hell are we not ahead? Missed a peno, hit the post and Jaaskelainenhas made 3 or 4 great saves.
    We're somehow gonna lose this :mad:

    FCUK SAKE!!! :mad:
    Upson OG. Bolton still yet to have a shot on target and they go 1-0 up! Another long season awaits.
    Davies also booted Upson in the face in the build up.

    Either way great win considering its away and after a midweek game I reckon Foy wasn't sure if it was 100% over the line which means he can't give it I guess.

    Very Physical Game thought we did well to cope it won't get any tougher really physically

    Blackburn dominated the first half and got nothing from it and then the saved penalty. Good save, Keeper dived the right side and it was probably a good height for him or whatever that line is that pundits do give.

    Very disappointing result on the whole, we could easily have knocked in a couple in the first half

    Absolutely fantastic result for Wolves, massive for them. What is with West Ham, I;m tempted to stick a few quid on them going down as they do not look good at all.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,688 ✭✭✭Nailz

    I'm liking how this Wigan - Chelsea game is going, Chelsea don't look threatening at all!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,148 ✭✭✭✭Raskolnikov

    Martinez must have given these boys a kick in the hole, look a different team.

    Need a shot on target, from either team!
