Have eircom 3mb BB, I don't think the line can handle the 3mb as its only syncing at 2mb. Here's the stats:
Line State Up Modulation DMT Data Path Interleave
Downstream Upstream Max Allowed Speed (kbps) 2048 256 SN Margin (dB) 14.60 23.00 Line Attenuation (dB) 52.00 31.50 CRC Errors 34914 1190
That seems to be a lot of CRC errors!

Question is should I downgrade to 1mb BB?
It used to sync at 3mb and I would get most of that but its been very poor for the last while. Think I'm just on the distance limit for BB on the line, around 5km I think.

I have to laugt at the speed test... or else I'd cry!

You'll maybe get faster connection at 1Mbps.

If it was good, check all your DSL filters.

    Dermot,

You might have a line fault? Maybe get the guys to check this out for you. If you're syncing at 2Mb you should be getting far more than your speedtest.
