Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Will I lose all my Rent Allowance

    It looks like I may have secured a place on a CE scheme (which pays about 246euro I think). I am currently in receipt of OPF (225 euro) and also receive rent allowance of 74 euro a week.

    I have spent the last 2 hours trying to use the citizens information site to calculate if I'm going to lose all my rent allowance and am getting totally confused by it. I also read the fact sheet for those in receipt of one parent family to see if it also will affect that payment but cannot make head nor tail of it...http://www.citizensinformation.ie/References/worksheets/worksheet-one-parent-family-payment-and-community-employment.

    Are there any lone parents here who are on a CE scheme who can tell me how it affects their payments?
