Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Is Sky showing the game?

Hopefully Sevilla can hold onto their 2 goal advantage. Will we be seeing Barcas first team?

The 8 World cup winners have been training for the past week and are not at full fitness as yet and Pep said yesterday that he doesnt think they will play the full 90mins. Pinto could be in goal also. This game is not on Sky so you will have to look for a stream.

Surely Sevilla will rest players with the must win champions league game coming up on Tuesday

I dont know. There is a title at stake here - alright not a major one but when you have an advantage over one of the giants you dont throw it away. The ways things have been in Spain in recent years means the other teams best chance of titles are the copa and the supercopa. If they rest players then its karma considering Barca were heavily depleted in the first leg. Eitherway I dont think Sevilla will rest many as they know from last season when they beat a depleted Barca in the first leg of the Copa del rey last 16 that the return leg saw them dominated by Barca when the big players returned.

Hi I have Barca to win this game in an accumulator with PP. I presume I win the bet if Barca win the match, even if they still lose on aggregate? Thanks:)

How in the name of god Zokora didnt even get a booking for that challenge on Messi is baffling.

I had worries that Messi looked a little burned out towards the end of last season and in the World Cup.

I thought Messi had a good World cup - he done everything bar score a goal in fairness.

He beat players for fun and setup goals - he hit the post a couple of times and the bar.

I certainly wouldnt have said he had a poor world cup - he looked well lively to me.

Sorry about this lads but who assisted the 2nd and 3rd goals?

It's not fair. He's too good.

Is the supercup a respected trophy in Spain or is it treated like the English equivalent?

bah same old lie down and take it up the ass.

Optimistic this season would be different.

It aint a major trophy in fairness - just cup winners against league winners season opener.

Ya its not a major trophy at all but just to see Messi is what this game is all about. The kid is getting better. Who knows how good he can be.
