Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Has anyone an update on the accident at the Roundwood GP? The bunch was maybe 1.5km from the finish. A grey van met us coming around a corner. As we passed I heard it skid and hit the hedge. Apparently it may have hit a rider. I wasn't parked in the GAA grounds so didn't hear anything afterwards. Hopefully nobody was hit.

Just heard at the race today that the van came off worse than the rider! Everyone got up and pedalled to the finish.

Sounded pretty bad from where I was but glad everyone is ok.

Terry Ferris (Murphy & Gunn) came off the bike due to the van, but he's grand i'm told.

Jeez, theres always one, just wouldn't like to be him explaining to the insurance company, that's all,so you took me out of context. As I didn't witness the event, I can't speculate on who was at fault, or the circumstances.
